President's Meeting and RRCA National Convention
Thanks to all those who spent a couple hours at the President's Meeting after the 10 Mile Club Challenge Race. We tweaked the scoring for next years 10 Mile Challenge Race and the for the Grand Prix Series team scoring. We agreed to have the clubs fund the WDF Series again as well as the Grand Prix Series.
The RRCA National Convention was in San Francisco in 2009 and a good time was had by all. The Business Meeting was uneventful and the elections went uncontested. The exciting news from the convention was that the RRCA is now looking outward and will be providing more to its members. The easiest thing to notice will be the publication called Club Runner that will be mailed to all individual members households of RRCA clubs starting this spring. There should be three publications annually and might grow to four. Please make sure the RRCA Headquarters has a complete and updated list of your clubs membership list so everyone will receive their free publication!
